Chances are that if you are reading this, then you are interested in electric vehicles, but not in the electric vehicle industry. If this is an erroneous assumption, and you are indeed in the electric vehicle industry or even just keen to be a part of it, then this is for you especially.
On the night before the expo, there will be a commercial networking event at the Melbourne International Karting Complex (where the expo is being held). The purpose of this event is to connect people in the industry so that everyone can gain more opportunity and be more successful. It’s another way we thought we could help to promote and encourage electric vehicles now and into the future.
You can sign up to the event here - https://www.evexpo.org.au/commercial-networking.html
Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you will need to put all the effort in either. This is going to be better than those events you might have been to where it is just hoped you will meet people. We have used the lessons learned from the Alternative Technology Association’s successful Speed Date a Sustainability Expert program. With these lessons we have put a system in place to make the networking event effective while still keeping it social.
The process at the start of the night will ensure that you meet a collection of people. With each you will share your skills and challenges. Each of these people will meet others there on the night, and pretty quickly word will be getting around about what you have to offer and who you need help from. Just as you also help spread the word about what others there need and can offer.
So do you have a business in the EV area; do you want to enter the EV industry; do you work in the EV industry; or, are you looking for investment opportunities in the EV industry? If it was ayes to any of these, then make sure you sign up here - https://www.evexpo.org.au/commercial-networking.html.
